Phil Chester Lightroom Presets (6 packs) [2017]

My biggest goal when editing is to make sure the images will last the test of time. Avoiding trends, prioritizing clean and simple skin tone, and creating a cohesive look session after session, wedding after wedding. It’s taken years of tinkering to finally be happy with my look and I’m stoked to actually have a really solid starting point every time I sit down to edit.

PC-01

This is my go to starting point for all things color. My biggest focus in any color toning is accurate skin tone and this little guy starts me off in the right direction every time. 9 times out of 10 I’m applying this and simply adjusting just the exposure and white balance.

PC-02

Higher Contrast + Warmer Vibes. Sometimes images need a little help in making deeper blacks and whiter whites to make them pop, this preset does just that. At the same time there’s a nice warming split toning that helps a lot while applying to images shot out in nature or simply to enhance sunlight.

PC-03

This is what I use for images shot on really bright days. Without completely crushing the brightest parts of the image, this preset makes shooting on those intense sunny days manageable. I’ve also adjusted the toning in this to make foliage not look awful, those intense green fields or awfully green shrubbery.

PC-04

This is my go to for all things black and white. A solid contrast with a boost in the skin tones to make sure they don’t get lost in the image.

PC-05

A lesser contrast for highly contrasting environments. This preset gives the image a softer, simpler contrasting look.

PC-06

This is what I’m using when I either purposefully or accidentally under expose the photo.
